Charlie Love
Innovative teacher, Government Adviser and Education Technologist
Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, Charlie Love works to further the development and adoption of Digital Learning across Education. A recognised leader in the use of digital tools, he has years of classroom experience of using technologies and computer science to inspire and to improve education outcomes for young people.
He has worked internationally with Cambridge International Examination, the Singapore Government and schools in the Philippines in the development of computer science education. He provides advice to Scottish Government, Education Scotland and the Scottish Qualifications Authority on digital learning and computing science. His current interests include flipped and blended models of learning, the use of video and AI to make learning accessible for end users, games development and games based learning and the use of social media in education. He is a published author and a previous Principal Examiner for CIE.
In his current role, he leads on the deployment of digital tools for learning in Aberdeen City and the programme of support to deliver 21st learning experiences.
